The British Virgin Islands (BVI), a part of the Leeward Island chain, are located approximately 1100 miles southeast of Florida, USA, in the Caribbean Sea.  While only about 8 miles east of St. Thomas and just north of St. John in the U.S. Virgin Islands, they are a world apart - the BVI are typified by a quieter, more rural lifestyle. Tortola is the main island and the main city is Road Town.  Cooper Island lies approximately 5 miles south of Tortola.  Quart-A-Nancy Point is located on the northern tip of Cooper Island, facing west (Approximate Latitude: N18.389 degrees, Longitude: W64.513 degrees).  Click here to switch to satellite image view.
